The wide blade may be a cutdown sword blade with 2 fullers fading away towards the point. A marking is on the blade as shown on the photos. The grip is possibly bone showing some old splitting. The cross guard is typical English with club and nippled finials. The ferrel and pommel are silver as well as the scabbard mounts. A nice attractive plug bayonet.Lengths O/A: 432mm X 36mm
