Description
“VIVE-LE-ROY” refers to the Royalist song from collections of so called Rump songs pre 1660 calling for restoration of the Crown and putting Charles II on the throne.
This rare plug bayonet speaks for itself-The horn grip is topped with a brass cap, brass finials and shell counter guard with engravings. The horn grip has slight worm damage attesting to its age. A must for English Civil War collectors. Length O/H: 490mm, width of blade: 25mm.
