Finally completed Howitzer project for re-enactments or display. The barrel is modern cast from plans in Millers book 1780. The carriage followed plans from other plans from our library. Originally the barrel would have been cast in gun metal bronze however due to cost this barrel is cast in iron with the correct Geo3 logo. This piece is suitable for blank fire use in re-enactments pre and post 1760’s All parts have been lovingly hand made and is as authentic as possibly. The wheels were found in an antique shop and were restored. The original axle would have been made of wood, however, we made this axle from an original axle made of iron.
