Hooked fighting No7 boomerang stone carved with fluting at top junction. 2 pierced holes at top possibly for whistling noise when thrown. (See page 48 Philip Jones “Boomerang).This old boomerang was rubbed with red ochre and is smooth from handling. There is also an old repair to a crack that starts at the top corner and runs down between the holes. The repair appears to have been done using bush resin and ochre. Writing on the reverse states “This Nulla Nulla was given to me by my life long friend Arnold Hudson 1942 when he was stationed with the army in the Northern Territory. Verco Cook
